about me

I'm a South Asian-Canadian poet and fiction writer based in Toronto. My poems have appeared in Poetry magazine and other literary journals, and I was a finalist for the 2024 Montreal International Poetry Prize and longlisted for the 2025 CBC Poetry Prize.

I'm currently writing my debut novel, a story about a South Asian immigrant family grappling with grief and mental illness. I'm also finishing a Master's in English Literature at York University.
